- Never run when on the safety mattresses.
- Keep mats clear hard objects at all times; Bottles, brushes etc.
- Always pay attention to other climbers and be aware of your surroundings to avoid collisions or other accidents. Never climb over or under anyone on the wall.
- Climb at your own risk, and avoid dangerous moves.
- Do not climb while wearing jewelry, including rings, necklaces, and over-sized earrings.
- If handholds or footholds appear loose, immediate notify staff and avoid using the hold.
- Never engage in horseplay or roughhousing.
- Never climb outside of designated areas or on structures that are not intended for climbing.
- Follow all posted rules and regulations and never ignore warnings from staff or safety signs.
- Always favor climbing down from walls, rather than jumping, to reduce the risk of injury to yourself and others. All walls are equipped with designated down climbing holds.
- Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to boulder unsupervised, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising and keeping track of children at all times.
- Stay clear of route setters who are working in the bouldering gym to maintain safety.
- It is not recommended to climb while wearing headphones or any other items that may interfere with your hearing or ability to pay attention to your surroundings.
- Climbing barefoot is strictly forbidden. Always wear proper footwear while climbing.
- When possible, have a spotter assist you when attempting more challenging climbs.
- Show respect to fellow gym goers by practicing good manners and being considerate of others. This may include sharing equipment, taking turns on routes, and avoiding loud or disruptive behavior.
Failure to adhere to safety precautions may lead to immediate termination of membership and/or expulsion from Moumo.
